I have never been so upset and disgusted in my life. We just lost our Aussie bulldog to a heart heart this evening and I was instructed to take her to Wallan 24 hour vet so she could be picked up in the morning for cremation from the pet funeral service establishment. I spoke to the Wallan vet on the phone an hour earlier and said that I was going to bring our dog around after my wife, our 13month old and I said our goodbyes. I then took our dog there after we put our upset baby to sleep and it was 20 minutes after 8pm. Once there the absolute uncaring woman at the door would not let me in saying they were closed and that I should of come earlier. Firstly I didnt know that a 24 hr vet closes and secondly the girl I spoke to on the phone never said anything about them closing soon. Now for a place not to give a care in the world about an animal which they only care about making money off. The most upsetting thing about this is that made me so upset and angry was she told me to dump my dog at the back door and they can collect it later. You should be shut down and not part of our community. No one ever take your pets here please.
Had my conures wings and nails clipped, we werent aloud in the room to watch and he came out very distressed. They had clipped the wrong wings, meaning he was still able to fly but clearly in pain. Would NOT recommend
I cannot thank the wonderful staff at Wallan Vet Hospital enough for the empathy and care show to us yesterday when we sadly had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog Lily. This is not our usual vet but they took us in at a moments notice and treated our girl with the upmost care, respect and kindness in a very gentle environment. Thank you to the vet Jane and the vet nurse (sorry I can't recall her name) who treated both Lily and our family with the utmost care and compassion at a devastating time in our lives and made her passing a little easier to bare.

Although the outcome for my case was far from a happy ending, I am confident that they had tried and exhausted every available treatment, in the most professional manner one may expect.Till the end, my family manage to farewell our loved one in a comforting environment, making every effort possible to ensure we have a loving memory.
